The Casa is located within the Cabo Pulmo National Marine Park on the Sea of Cortez in Southern Baja. Part of a secluded, gated community, it sits on a bluff facing a beautiful beach and the stunning Los Frailes bay. It’s a perfect place for a family vacation as well as water sports enthusiasts.
Los Frailes Bay is just minutes south of the popular diving and wind-surfing town of Cabo Pulmo. Cabo Pulmo has grown in recent years and now has become a bit crowded with trucks, boats, dive shops as well a many snorkel and board-sports rental kiosks. Many travelers still enjoy CP, however if your looking for a private, peaceful, tranquil alternative with fabulous views in a gated community, Casa Los Frailes is for you.
The Casa is approximately 3500sq/ft with 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, 2 large family rooms and fabulous upper and lower terraces. The house is fully furnished, and each bedroom has a remotely adjustable air-conditioner. The upper family room has a wall-mounted flat screen TV for watching movies and diving videos. There is high- speed internet, and there is a new cell tower in Cabo Pulmo; US phones function well for phone and text.
Casa Los Frailes is eco-friendly. Located in a remote area of southern Baja, there are no municipal utilities. The house is self-sustaining, using primarily a self contained solar system for power. We ask that guests are respectful of the environment and help us protect and maintain this amazing area.
Los Frailes is an incredible place for a vacation. It is approximately 90 minutes from the airport, the last 30 minutes on a dirt road. There are endless options for adventure, fun, and relaxation. However it is in a relatively isolated area; if bars, night clubs, high-end shopping, and an active social scene are what you desire, Cabo San Lucas is a better option. The Cabo area is easy to reach from the US, with many airlines offering non-stop flights.
